NCAA Women Bracket 2024
NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division. The 2024 Division women’s basketball tournament will feature 68 teams that will play to determine the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division.
This year will be the 42nd inaugural edition of the basketball tournament on March 20, 2024, and will conclude with the championship game on April 7, 2024, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
The tournament was organized by the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) from 1972 to 1982 and was held before women’s basketball tournaments were played.
In 1981-82, basketball was one of the 12 women’s sports added for the school year by the NCAA Championships, while the NCAA was engaged in a battle with the AIAW, as the NCAA wanted sole administration of women’s collegiate sports.
